Established 16 years ago, North Norfolk Vehicle Solutions (NNVS) has earned a solid reputation in the used commercial vehicle sector, a success largely attributed to Ivan Kendle, a former workshop mechanic who rose to lead the dealership. Ivan, who had been an integral part of the company for nearly two decades, skillfully transitioned from hands-on mechanical work to strategic business management. Despite the challenges of swapping spanners for spreadsheets, he successfully steered NNVS from its humble beginnings with just three staff members to its current robust team, comprising eight workshop personnel, two drivers, and two office staff, showcasing his dedication and adaptability in driving the company forward since his takeover in 2005.

Ivan has a good knowledge of farm machinery as he is also a cattle farmer, having his own suckler herd of over 200 cattle. With this knowledge he wanted to bring something to the market that was for one financially viable, given the small margins many small farmers work with and two being basic and strong in design so that maintenance was minimal and simple with the knock on effect being less down time for the machine.

In 2018, North Norfolk Vehicle Solutions (NNVS) expanded its portfolio by securing exclusive import rights for HZM and HERACLES equipment, following six successful years of importing and experiencing the reliability and cost-effectiveness of these Chinese machines. This strategic move led to the establishment of a specialized display room and parts warehouse, catering to the growing demand for straightforward, mechanically sound machinery that offers an affordable and reliable alternative to more complex models in the market.
